80s American Hard Rock Band

Winger is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1987 by lead vocalist and bassist Kip Winger, guitarist Reb Beach, drummer Rod Morgenstein, and keyboardist Paul Taylor. The band achieved significant commercial success during the late 1980s and early 1990s with their blend of glam metal and progressive rock. Their self-titled debut album "Winger," released in 1988, achieved platinum status in the United States and included hit singles such as "Seventeen" and "Headed for a Heartbreak." Following the success of their first album, Winger released "In the Heart of the Young" in 1990, which also went platinum and featured successful tracks like "Miles Away" and "Can't Get Enuff."
