Wild Turkey

Wild Turkey is a British rock band formed by Glenn Cornick, bassist from the progressive rock band Jethro Tull, after he left Tull in 1971. The band's music has its roots in hard rock and folk rock, and they were part of the early 1970s rock scene. Wild Turkey released their debut album "Battle Hymn" in 1971, which showcased their blend of hard-driving rock music with a distinctively British edge. The band underwent several lineup changes throughout its career and released a few more albums before disbanding. They briefly reunited in the mid-1990s and again in the early 2000s, during which time they released the album "Rarest Turkey," which featured previously unreleased tracks or rare recordings. Despite not achieving major commercial success, Wild Turkey has maintained a cult following among fans of the era's rock music.
