We Are The Ocean was a British rock band known for their post-hardcore and alternative rock sound. Formed in 2007, the band consisted of Liam Cromby (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Alfie Scully (lead guitar), Jack Spence (bass guitar), and Tom Whittaker (drums). They quickly gained a following with their energetic live performances and emotive songwriting. The band released their debut album "Cutting Our Teeth" in 2010, which helped them establish a solid fan base within the UK rock scene. They followed up with "Go Now And Live" in 2011, showcasing a more refined sound and earning critical acclaim. Their third album, "Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow," released in 2012, continued to build on their success and saw the band experimenting with a broader range of musical influences. Over the years, We Are The Ocean toured extensively across the UK and Europe, sharing stages with bands such as You Me at Six and The Used. Despite their growing popularity, the band announced their split in 2017 after a decade of making music together.
