Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The group enjoyed significant commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their multi-platinum albums "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich" (1989) and "Cherry Pie" (1990). These albums spawned several hit singles, including "Heaven," which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Cherry Pie," which became a top-10 hit. The band's lineup during this peak period included Jani Lane as the lead vocalist, Joey Allen and Erik Turner on guitars, Jerry Dixon on bass, and Steven Sweet on drums.
