The Stone

The Stone is a black metal band from Serbia, originally formed in 1996 under the name Stone to Flesh. They changed their name to The Stone in 2001. The band is known for their Slavic paganism themes and their lyrics often explore dark and philosophical subjects, drawing inspiration from Serbian history and mythology. Throughout their career, they have maintained a consistent presence in the underground metal scene, gaining recognition for their intense live performances and prolific recording output. The Stone has released numerous albums, with "Закон Велеса" (2004), "Crna Hronika" (2003), and "Kosturnice" (2021) being among them. Their music is characterized by a blend of traditional black metal elements with melodic and atmospheric touches, which has garnered them a dedicated fan base within the genre.
