The Human Beast was a psychedelic rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland, that emerged in the late 1960s. They are primarily known for their album "Volume One," which was released in 1970. The band consisted of Ed Jones (vocals, guitar), John Ramsay (bass), and Bill Anderson (drums). Despite their brief existence and limited discography, The Human Beast managed to make a mark with their heavy and raw sound that combined elements of hard rock and psychedelic music. Their music is characterized by gritty guitar riffs, dark lyrical themes, and a garage rock aesthetic. "Volume One" has since become a cult classic among collectors of obscure and vintage rock music. The band did not achieve significant commercial success during their active years and eventually disbanded, with members going their separate ways.
