The Brook Street Band is a UK-based ensemble named after the London street where the baroque composer George Frideric Handel lived for most of his working life. The group specializes in historically informed performance of baroque music, particularly focusing on the works of Handel and his contemporaries. Formed in 1996 by baroque cellist Tatty Theo, The Brook Street Band has gained a reputation for its lively interpretations and engaging concert performances.
