Southern California Ska-Punk Legends

Sublime was an American ska punk band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988. The group's line-up, unchanged until their breakup, consisted of Bradley Nowell (vocals and guitar), Eric Wilson (bass), and Bud Gaugh (drums). They became known for their unique blend of reggae, punk, ska, and hip hop. Sublime achieved mainstream success with their self-titled third album released in 1996, which came after the tragic death of Nowell due to a heroin overdose. Despite their short-lived career, the band made a significant impact on the '90s music scene with hits like "What I Got," "Santeria," and "Wrong Way." Their music continues to be celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fusion of various musical styles.
