Strawberry Alarm Clock is an American psychedelic rock band that gained fame in the late 1960s. The band is best known for their hit single "Incense and Peppermints," which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1967. Formed in Los Angeles, California, the group's music blended psychedelic and pop elements, characterized by swirling organ sounds, fuzzy guitar riffs, and catchy melodies. Following the success of their debut single, Strawberry Alarm Clock released their first album, also titled "Incense and Peppermints," which helped cement their place in the psychedelic rock scene. They continued to produce music with subsequent albums like "Wake Up...It's Tomorrow" and "The World in a Sea Shell," although they never quite replicated the success of their initial hit.
