Norwegian Psychedelic Rock Band

Spidergawd is a Norwegian rock band that has garnered attention for its energetic blend of hard rock, classic rock, and metal, with a distinctive inclusion of saxophone in their sound. The band was formed in Trondheim in 2013 and consists of members from other notable Norwegian bands, such as Motorpsycho and The International Tussler Society. Spidergawd quickly established themselves within the Scandinavian rock scene with their self-titled debut album released in 2014. Following the success of their first album, they have maintained a prolific output, releasing subsequent albums nearly every year. Their discography includes "Spidergawd II" (2015), "Spidergawd IV" (2017), and "Spidergawd VI" (2021), indicating a consistent pattern in titling their albums sequentially, albeit with the absence of a "Spidergawd V". The band's music is characterized by its high energy, tight musicianship, and the unique addition of Rolf Martin Snustad's baritone saxophone, which adds a distinctive texture to their sound. Spidergawd continues to be active in the music scene, touring and recording new material.
