British post-punk band

Savages is a British post-punk band formed in 2011 in London. The group consists of Jehnny Beth (vocals), Gemma Thompson (guitar), Ayşe Hassan (bass), and Fay Milton (drums). They quickly became known for their intense live performances and stark, minimalist sound that draws on the legacy of punk and post-punk music. Savages released their debut album, "Silence Yourself," in 2013 to critical acclaim, with its raw energy and commanding lyrics capturing the attention of both the public and music critics. The album was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize that year, which is an annual music prize awarded for the best album from the United Kingdom and Ireland.
