Robert Lloyd is a distinguished British bass opera singer, renowned for his deep, powerful voice and his interpretations of a wide range of operatic roles. Born on April 2, 1940, in South Staffordshire, England, Lloyd has had a prolific career that has spanned several decades. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and made his professional debut in 1969 with the Welsh National Opera. Over the years, he has performed at many of the world's leading opera houses, including the Royal Opera House in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, and the Vienna State Opera.
