Reema

Living in Berlin, Germany but born and raised in London, Reema says her self-penned achingly sad folk-inspired songs are her way of communicating and have been since she started writing them at the age of seven. She has, in between then and now, been experimenting with different kinds of sound from punk to synth pop but has arrived back at the songs in their naked form. Just little twinkles of guitar and her voice guide us through stories about love, loss, friendship, life and ghosts. All the colorful stage clothes and album artwork are handmade by Reema herself and feature her drawings and paintings of paisley covered animals and people, either printed onto fabrics or cut into collages.
