Polar Bear Club is an American post-hardcore band from Rochester and Syracuse, New York, formed in 2005. The group is known for its energetic live performances and a sound that blends elements of punk rock, emo, and hardcore. The band's lineup has included vocalist Jimmy Stadt, lead guitarist Chris Browne, rhythm guitarist Patrick Benson, bassist Erik Henning, and drummer Steve Port. They released their debut album "Sometimes Things Just Disappear" in 2008, which was followed by "Chasing Hamburg" in 2009. The band continued to build their reputation with subsequent albums such as "Clash Battle Guilt Pride" in 2011 and "Death Chorus" in 2013. Over the years, Polar Bear Club has toured extensively, both as a headlining act and supporting other bands in the punk and hardcore scenes. Their music has been characterized by introspective lyrics and a melodic yet aggressive approach to songwriting.
