One Way System is a British punk band that originated in the early 1980s. Hailing from Fleetwood and Blackpool in Lancashire, England, the group quickly became known for their energetic performances and their place within the UK82 or second wave of British punk. The band's classic lineup consisted of Gavin Whyte, David Ross, Gary Buckley, and Tom Couch. One Way System released their debut album "All Systems Go" in 1983, which solidified their position in the punk scene with its raw sound and socially aware lyrics. They gained a following through their intense live shows and were part of the vibrant punk movement that included other bands like The Exploited and Discharge.
