Of Mice & Men is an American metalcore band formed in Costa Mesa, California, in 2009. The group was founded by Austin Carlile and Jaxin Hall during their time together in the band Attack Attack!. Of Mice & Men quickly gained popularity within the metalcore scene with their self-titled debut album released in 2010. Following their initial success, they released "The Flood" in 2011, which marked a significant step in their career due to its commercial success and critical acclaim. The band continued to evolve and expand their sound with subsequent albums, including "Cold World" (2016) and "Earthandsky" (2019), showcasing their ability to blend aggressive metal elements with melodic choruses. Over the years, Of Mice & Men has undergone several lineup changes, with Carlile departing the band in 2016 due to health issues and bassist/vocalist Aaron Pauley taking over as the lead vocalist. Despite these changes, the band has maintained a strong presence in the metalcore genre and continues to tour and produce new music.
