Millencolin is a Swedish punk rock band that was formed in Örebro in 1992. The band's name is derived from the skateboarding trick "melancholy." The original lineup consisted of Nikola Sarcevic on vocals and bass, Mathias Färm on guitar, Erik Ohlsson also on guitar, and Fredrik Larzon on drums. They quickly became known for their melodic punk style and have been a significant part of the skate punk scene. Millencolin has released several albums throughout their career, with some of their most notable work including "Pennybridge Pioneers" and "Home from Home." Their music often features themes of friendship, personal struggles, and societal issues, resonating with a wide audience and earning them a dedicated fan base around the world.
