Psychedelic Pop Project

Mild High Club is a psychedelic pop band founded by Alexander Brettin, a musician and songwriter known for his distinctive blend of jazz-influenced psychedelia and lo-fi aesthetics. The project emerged from the Los Angeles music scene and gained recognition with the release of their debut album "Timeline" in 2015 under Stones Throw Records. Following the success of their first album, Mild High Club released "Skiptracing" in 2016, which further established their sound and expanded their audience. The band's collaboration with Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard resulted in the album "Sketches of Brunswick East," released in 2017, showcasing a fusion of both groups' styles. Mild High Club continued to evolve musically, and in 2021, they released "Going Going Gone," marking their first album in four years. The band's work is characterized by its dreamy melodies, complex harmonies, and a nostalgic nod to '60s and '70s pop and psychedelia.
