Merciless

Merciless is a Swedish death/thrash metal band that was formed in 1986. They are known for their aggressive style and have been considered one of the earlier bands to define the Swedish death metal sound. The group released their debut album "The Awakening" in 1990, which has since been regarded as a classic in the genre, showcasing a raw and intense approach to metal. Following their impactful debut, they continued to build their reputation with subsequent releases such as "The Treasures Within" in 1992 and a self-titled album "Merciless" in 2003. Throughout their career, Merciless has experienced several hiatuses and lineup changes but have maintained a cult following within the metal community. Their influence can be seen in the work of many later Swedish death and thrash metal bands.
