Martin Pearlman

American Conductor and Baroque Music Specialist

Martin Pearlman is an American conductor, harpsichordist, composer, and early music specialist. He is the founder and music director of the Boston Baroque, an orchestra and chorus that specializes in the performance of Baroque and Classical music with period instruments. Under his direction, Boston Baroque has been nominated for several Grammy Awards and has produced a number of recordings, including works by Monteverdi, Handel, Bach, and Mozart.
