Experimental Turkish Improvisational Ensemble

Konstrukt is a Turkish avant-garde free jazz group known for their experimental and improvisational style. The band was formed in 2008 by saxophonist Korhan Futacı and guitarist Umut Çağlar, with various musicians joining them over the years for different projects. Konstrukt has collaborated with many notable figures in the free jazz and experimental music scenes, including but not limited to Peter Brötzmann, Keiji Haino, and William Parker. They have been prolific in their output, releasing numerous albums that explore the intersections of jazz, electronic, ethnic, and psychedelic music. The band has gained international recognition for their innovative approach to music and their ability to blend a wide array of influences into a coherent and unique sound.
