Melodic Rock Project

Khymera is a melodic rock project that began as a collaboration between Italian producer/musician Daniele Liverani and Kansas singer Steve Walsh in the early 2000s. After the initial album, bassist and producer Dennis Ward (known for his work with Pink Cream 69 and other bands) took over lead vocals and became the driving force behind the project. Khymera blends elements of AOR (Adult Oriented Rock), melodic rock, and hard rock, delivering hook-laden songs with polished production. Over the years, Khymera has released several albums that have been well-received within the melodic rock community. The band's lineup has seen various changes, with Ward being the consistent member contributing to its sound and production. The albums "The Grand Design" and "Master Of Illusions" are part of their discography, showcasing their evolution in sound and songwriting within the genre.
