Psychedelic Rock Project

Kandodo is a psychedelic rock project led by Simon Price, who is best known as the guitarist of the British space rock band The Heads. The project's name, Kandodo, comes from a supermarket in Malawi that Price visited during his childhood in Africa. Kandodo's music is characterized by its ambient, meditative qualities, often incorporating drone and minimalist elements to create expansive soundscapes. The project's work is largely instrumental, with a focus on creating textured layers of sound. Price has released several albums under the Kandodo moniker, including the self-titled debut "kandodo" in 2012 and subsequent releases that have continued to explore the boundaries of psychedelic and experimental music.
