Human Impact

Human Impact is a post-punk/noise rock band formed in New York City. The group consists of members from various influential noise rock bands, including Chris Spencer from Unsane, Jim Coleman from Cop Shoot Cop, Chris Pravdica from Swans, and Phil Puleo also from Swans and Cop Shoot Cop. They came together to form Human Impact with the intent of creating music that reflects the chaotic energy of their urban environment and addresses the impact of humanity on the world. Their self-titled debut album "Human Impact" was released in 2020, and it was followed by "EP01," which further showcased their blend of intense, industrial-tinged rock with dissonant melodies and atmospheric elements. The band's sound is characterized by its abrasive guitar work, electronic noise, and brooding vocal delivery, which has garnered attention within the alternative and experimental music scenes.
