Gwilym Simcock is a British jazz pianist and composer renowned for his virtuosic performance and sophisticated compositions that blend elements of classical music with jazz. Born in Wales in 1981, Simcock has established himself as a prominent figure in the contemporary jazz scene. He was a scholar at Chetham's School of Music and later studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London. His career has been marked by numerous accolades, including being the first jazz musician to be selected as a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist.
