Guzzard was a noise rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, active during the early to mid-1990s. They were part of the noise rock scene that included other bands like Helmet and The Jesus Lizard. Guzzard was known for their aggressive sound and energetic live performances. The band released several records, including the albums "Quick, Fast, In A Hurry" and "The Alienation Index Survey," which showcased their raw, punk-influenced style. They were signed to Amphetamine Reptile Records, a label that was pivotal in promoting underground noise rock bands of that era. Despite never achieving mainstream success, Guzzard developed a cult following and contributed to the vibrant alternative music scene of the 90s before eventually disbanding.
