Gouge Away is a hardcore punk band from Florida, United States, known for their intense and emotionally charged music. Formed in 2012, the band consists of vocalist Christina Michelle, guitarist Mick Ford, bassist Tyler Forsythe, and drummer Tommy Cantwell. They quickly made a name for themselves in the punk scene with their raw energy and socially conscious lyrics. Gouge Away released their debut album "Dies" in 2016, which was followed by "Burnt Sugar" in 2018. The latter album was produced by Jeremy Bolm of Touché Amoré and Jack Shirley, known for his work with Deafheaven and Jeff Rosenstock, showcasing a more dynamic and melodic approach while maintaining their aggressive edge. The band has toured extensively, sharing stages with a variety of punk and hardcore acts, further establishing their presence in the genre.
