Cuban Reggaeton Duo

Gente de Zona is a Cuban reggaeton group founded in 2000 by Alexander Delgado. The band combines reggaeton rhythms with more traditional forms of Cuban music. They first gained domestic success in Cuba and then became internationally known after collaborating with Enrique Iglesias on the hit song "Bailando" in 2014, which won three Latin Grammy Awards and was nominated for a Grammy Award. Following this success, Gente de Zona's popularity soared, leading to collaborations with other artists such as Marc Anthony on the track "La Gozadera" and "Traidora." Their album "Visualízate," released in 2016, further cemented their status in the Latin music scene, winning them a Latin Grammy for Best Tropical Fusion Album. Gente de Zona continues to be influential in the Latin music industry, known for their catchy tunes and fusion of musical styles.
