Electric Enemy

Electric Enemy

Rising British Alternative Rock Band

Electric Enemy is the alternative rock project of London-based multi-instrumentalist Jim Lawton. Lawton writes, records and either produces or co-produces all of the project’s music whilst joined on certain tracks by some of his close network of talented players, as the upcoming debut album demonstrates. When playing live, Lawton is joined by artists and friends chosen for their stage prowess and playing abilities who come together to form a distinctive wall of sound and, to show further versatility, Lawton occasionally goes out as Electric Enemy solo, most recently to great effect touring throughout Europe as main support to Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains). The forthcoming self-titled album features Max Crook and Thomas Rhomer-Smith on drums and percussion; guitars from Gibson-guitar-supported Orlando Formaro and Lawton himself; and bass playing additions from Ewan Boissinot, Sara Fedi and Killian Paul. Electric Enemy appeal to everyone from the Gen-Z who has begun to search for her way in life to the long-time Brit-rock fan who has heard almost everything before; those who demand from artists not only quality and authenticity, but songs that can soundtrack their lives. Some say self-titled debut albums are the best. Alright then: here we go! Sitting somewhere between the classic rock of the Foo Fighters with a touch of Oasis, and newer acts like Des Rocs, Muse and Royal Blood, Electric Enemy are setting out to make rock music with a mission. Combining introspective lyrics with compelling melodies and dynamic musicianship, the band has cracked a formula that has made them a need-to-know act in the UK and beyond.
