Eckart Haupt

German Flutist and Conductor

Eckart Haupt is a distinguished German flutist and conductor, renowned for his contributions to classical music both as a soloist and as an ensemble performer. Born on October 10, 1937, in Dresden, he studied at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in his hometown. Throughout his career, Haupt has been associated with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, where he served as the principal flutist.
