British Industrial Metal Band

Download is an industrial music project formed by Dwayne Goettel and cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy in 1994 after the dissolution of their previous band. The project was initially a means for them to explore more experimental electronic music outside the confines of Skinny Puppy's style. Following Goettel's death in 1995, Key continued Download with various collaborators, including Phil Western and Mark Spybey. The project has been known for its incorporation of electronic styles ranging from techno and IDM to ambient and noise, often with a complex, layered sound. Download's discography includes several albums, with "Furnace" being their debut release in 1995, followed by "The Eyes Of Stanley Pain" in 1996, which further established their presence in the industrial music scene. In 2013, they released "Lingam," showcasing their continued evolution and experimentation with electronic sounds. Throughout their career, Download has maintained a cult following and is respected for their innovative contributions to electronic and industrial music.
