Dive

Dive is the solo project of Belgian electronic musician Dirk Ivens, who is also known for his work with other industrial and EBM groups such as The Klinik, Absolute Body Control, and Sonar. Dive's music is characterized by its minimalist approach, often featuring harsh, repetitive beats and aggressive vocals. Since its inception in the early 1990s, Dive has released a number of albums that have contributed to the industrial and electronic body music (EBM) scenes. Ivens' work as Dive is notable for its raw energy and the use of analog equipment, which gives his tracks a distinctive lo-fi sound that has been influential in the genre. Over the years, Dive has maintained a cult following within the industrial music community and continues to perform live at various electronic and industrial festivals around the world.
