British alternative rock/electronic duo

Curve was an English alternative rock and electronic duo formed in 1990, consisting of Toni Halliday (vocals, lyrics) and Dean Garcia (bass, guitar, programming). They were known for their blend of dark, immersive soundscapes with elements of shoegaze, trip-hop, and industrial music. Curve released several albums throughout the 1990s, starting with their debut EP "Blindfold" in 1991, followed by their first studio album "Doppelgänger" in 1992. The band gained critical acclaim for their innovative sound and Halliday's distinctive vocals. They continued to produce music into the early 2000s before eventually disbanding. Their work has influenced a number of artists in the shoegaze and electronic genres that followed.
