German Hardcore Punk Band

THE CRUSHING CASPARS where born in 1995. Based and grown up in Rostock, they started with their music in the veins of the old-school heros like AGNOSTIC FRONT, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and GORILLA BISCUITS. The 5-track debut “Crushing Caspars” was released in 1996 on Black Mark Productions. A second 6-Track “d.i.y.” CD “Provocation” followed in 1998. They created their own style of Hardcore, more singalongs, more ironical, more fun (to get the party started), but definitely based on the traditional Hardcore roots by their favourites. They named it “Baltic Sea Hardcore” which became a brand on the German East Coast. Their first full length CD “Full Flavour” was released in 2000, also “D.I.Y.”. They played 50 shows a year at that time, mostly on weekends. The first tour happened in 1999 with the Brasilian Hardcore legend RATOS DE PORAO. In 2004 the Split-CD with COR “Baltic Sea 4 Life” was released on the Berlin based label Puke Music. At the same time they joined forces with MAD Tourbooking, which was a big step forward to their live activities. Since than they’ve done shows/tours with bands like SICK OF IT ALL, AGNOSTIC FRONT, MURPHYS LAW, MADBALL and IGNITE, to name just a few. In 2008 the CRUSHING CASPARS released another full length “The Fire Still Burns” on the dutch Hardcore label GSR. With their latest output “Back To The Roots . . . Nevertheless Up To Date” in 2010 and their massiv and constantly touring all over Europe, the bands played already more than 1000 shows during the last few years.
