Coilguns is a Swiss hardcore punk band known for their intense and energetic sound. The group formed in 2011 and consists of members who were also part of the post-metal band The Ocean. Coilguns quickly established themselves in the European underground music scene with their raw, live recording approach and relentless touring. They have released several albums, including "Commuters" in 2013, which showcased their ability to blend chaotic hardcore with experimental elements. Following up with "Millennials" in 2018 and "Watchwinders" in 2019, Coilguns continued to push the boundaries of their genre, earning a reputation for their innovative style and powerful live performances. The band's music is characterized by a DIY ethic and a willingness to explore the abrasive side of punk, noise, and metal.
