Clint Mansell is a renowned English musician and composer who has made a significant impact on the world of film scoring. Initially gaining fame as the lead singer and guitarist for the band Pop Will Eat Itself in the late 1980s and 1990s, Mansell transitioned into film scoring with the help of director Darren Aronofsky. His breakthrough came with the score for Aronofsky's film "Pi" in 1998.
