Cancer

Cancer is a British death metal band formed in Ironbridge, Telford, Shropshire in 1988. The group was founded by drummer Carl Stokes, guitarist John Walker, and bassist Ian Buchanan. The band quickly made an impact on the then-burgeoning death metal scene with their aggressive style and intense live performances. Cancer's debut album, "To The Gory End," was released in 1990 and received attention for its raw sound and brutal approach. They followed up with "Death Shall Rise" in 1991, which featured a guest appearance by James Murphy of Obituary and solidified their reputation within the genre.
