Renowned Chamber Ensemble

The Calidore String Quartet was formed at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, Los Angeles, in 2010. Since then, the group has gone on to enjoy acclaim in major venues across the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center in New York and London's Wigmore Hall. In 2016 they became BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists as well as winning a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. Summer 2018 saw the Calidore String Quartet make their BBC Proms debut in a lunchtime recital at Cadogan Hall and, in the Autumn, release their debut album - of Mendelssohn, Prokofiev, Janacek and Golijov - on the Signum label.
