Italian Heavy Metal Pioneers

Bulldozer is an Italian extreme metal band that was formed in 1980. The band is often credited as one of the pioneers of the black metal genre, as well as an influence on the thrash metal scene. Bulldozer's early work was heavily influenced by bands like Venom and Motörhead, and they are known for their aggressive style and controversial lyrics. The band's lineup has changed several times throughout their career, with the only constant member being bassist and vocalist Alberto Contini (also known as AC Wild). After releasing a few demos, Bulldozer's debut album "The Day of Wrath" was released in 1985, which established their presence in the metal underground.
