Italian Eurodance Project

Baltimora was an Italian music project active in the 1980s, best known for their hit single "Tarzan Boy." The project was formed by Jimmy McShane, a Northern Irish singer, who was the frontman and face of Baltimora, although the music was largely created and produced by Italian musician Maurizio Bassi. "Tarzan Boy," released in 1985, became a huge success, topping charts in several countries and becoming a staple of 1980s pop music. The song was featured on Baltimora's debut album "Living in the Background," which also included other tracks but did not achieve the same level of success as "Tarzan Boy." Despite the initial impact, Baltimora's popularity waned, and they struggled to replicate their early success with subsequent releases. The project is often regarded as a one-hit wonder due to the overwhelming fame of "Tarzan Boy" compared to their other work.
