Ayria is a Canadian futurepop/synthpop project formed in 2003 by Jennifer Parkin after she left the band Epsilon Minus. Parkin's music under the Ayria moniker is characterized by energetic beats, prominent lead synths, and her distinctive, emotive vocals. The project has been well-received within the alternative electronic music scene, gaining a following among fans of industrial, EBM (Electronic Body Music), and darkwave genres. Ayria has released several albums and EPs, with "Plastic Makes Perfect" (2013) and "Paper Dolls" (2016) being among them.
