Finnish symphonic black metal band

Alghazanth was a Finnish symphonic black metal band formed in 1995. Throughout their career, they were known for incorporating melodic and symphonic elements into their music, which set them apart from many other bands in the black metal genre. The band's lyrical themes often revolved around Satanism, anti-Christianity, and occultism, with a sophisticated and poetic approach. Alghazanth released several albums that contributed to their status within the black metal community, including "Thy Aeons Envenomed Sanity" (1999), "Subliminal Antenora" (2000), and "The Three-Faced Pilgrim" (2013). They announced their disbandment in 2018, following the release of their eighth full-length album, "Eight Coffin Nails." While Alghazanth has a dedicated following among fans of symphonic black metal, they maintained an underground status throughout their career.
