Al Wilson was an American soul singer known for his smooth vocal style and his hits during the late 1960s and 1970s. Before his solo success, he played with Johnny Harris's band in the mid-1960s and also worked with producer Johnny Rivers. Wilson released several albums throughout his career, including "Searching For The Dolphins" in 1968, which contained his cover of The Beatles' "The Snake."
