Aage Haugland (1944–2000) was a renowned Danish operatic bass. He had a significant career in opera, performing at many of the world's leading opera houses, including the Royal Opera House in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and La Scala in Milan. Haugland was particularly known for his interpretations of Wagnerian roles, as well as parts in operas by Mozart and Richard Strauss. His powerful voice and commanding stage presence made him a favorite among audiences and critics alike. Over the course of his career, he worked with many distinguished conductors and directors, contributing to numerous recordings that showcased his versatile vocal abilities.
