After the successful first edition of the double CD "The Best Of Americana Rock Music", which was released on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the label, now comes the second edition. The two-pack is again divided into a retrospective on CD 1 and current recordings on CD 2 and contains a total of 36 tracks from the label's extensive catalogue. CD 1 features songs from the early days to the recent past that have shaped the face of the label, including 17 musicians and groups such as The Schramms, The Resentments, The Silos, June Carter Cash, Sons Of Bill, Chris Knight, Jon Dee Graham and Plainsong. CD 2 features 19 tracks from artists and groups who either joined Blue Rose or released recent albums in the last two years, including The Great Crusades, American Aquarium, Jess Klein, US Rails, The Bottle Rockets, Leeroy Stagger, Ad Vanderveen, Stacie Collins, Tony Furtado and Hollis Brown. Since its founding in 1995, Blue Rose has developed into one of the hottest labels in roots, guitar, folk and southern rock, or "Americana rock music" for short.
