The original double album, which captures the band at the height of their powers, was compiled from recordings made during a six-show US tour in October 1978. This new 8-CD box set is the first to include all six complete original concerts (five of which have never been released) and a remastered version of the original album (on two CDs). Four concerts have been remixed from the original recordings. The discs are housed in a two-piece outer sleeve and the eight CDs are in cardboard sleeves. Included is a 24-page booklet with new liner notes by Michael Hanna, who conducted interviews with Phil Mogg, Andy Parker and Michael Schenker. A 2LP gatefold vinyl edition is also available. Remastered by Andy Pearce. CD 1.
