Let alone that the band would become the vanguard of German thrash metal. Now, on 12.1.2018, TANKARD's Best Of "Hymns For The Drunk" is released. "This Best Of represents a cross-section of our creative phase between 2002 and 2010 when we were active on AFM. Henner (R.I.P.) gave TANKARD a new chance in early 2000 when he signed us. In doing so, he was instrumental in breathing new life into the band. The release of "B-Day" in 2002 was an important turning point in the band's history, because with it we finally returned to the metal circus.
