STEVE HACKETT, former guitarist of Genesis and GTR, proves once again with his new album that he is one of the most talented and innovative rock musicians of our time. STEVE HACKETT proves his exceptional position in the rock genre with his guitar work and compositions that skillfully combine rock music with jazz, world music and blues influences.During his time in the band Genesis, he and his bandmates created some of the greatest rock moments of the last century, from the quiet, dreamy acoustic tones in tracks like "Horizons" and "Blood On The Rooftops" to the dramatic guitar solos in "Firth Of Fith" and "Fountain Of Salmacis". As a solo artist, he continues to develop his own style, writing the hit "Cell 151" amongst others in the 80s and joining forces with Steve Howe to form the supergroup GTR, which becomes very successful in America.In 2009 STEVE HACKETT writes and records the album "Out Of The Tunnel's Mouth", in a period of personal and professional upheaval. The album "Out Of The Tunnel's Mouth" is very well received by fans and critics alike, some even claiming it is the best work of his solo career.STEVE HACKETT takes his audience on an extraordinary musical journey during his electrifying live performances. Genesis classics as well as his solo classics find their place on this journey, and more recent tracks, including many from "Out Of The Tunnel's Mouth", prove that STEVE HACKETT is still one of the finest artists of his genre. Genesis' induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame this March is a compelling testament to how timeless and globally recognized their music is.
