Still, the quintet sounds familiar. In 1995, Slowdive split up again after only six years. In 2014, after their reunion, they appeared on stage together for the first time. After a few shows, Neil Halstead (vocals, guitar), Rachel Goswell (vocals, guitar), Christian Savill (guitar), Nick Chaplin (bass) and Simon Scott (drums) finally got into the studio to record a total of eight new songs for the album "Slowdive". Two of them, the pulsating "Star Roving" and the dreamy "Sugar For The Pill", were released by the band as a little teaser before the album's release. And it definitely leaves you wanting more: shoegazing, ambient, dreampop - it's kind of like Slowdive never left. Finally: 'Slowdive' is Slowdive's eagerly anticipated comeback album from 2017.
