''Takk...'' (Icelandic for ''Thank you...'') is the fourth studio album by Icelandic band Sigur Rós. Unlike the previous album, ''( )''', the lyrics on the album are mostly in Icelandic with occasional elements of "Vonlenska" ("Hopeland"), a Scottish form of gibberish. The songs "Andvari", "Gong" and "Mílanó" are sung entirely in "Vonlenska". In addition, he wrote the song "Mílanó" together with the Amiina String Quartet. For their fourth album, these icy-rough Icelandic ambient noise rockers wrote real lyrics, written in real, non-fictional language. Still, expect frontman JThor Birgisson, who sang only in his own made-up language, "Hopelandic," to sing in such a strange tone that the words sound otherworldly.
